Senior Web Service Developer
The Senior Web Service Developer will be responsible for the overall design and construction of integration components (web services) that supply enterprise systems data to purpose build applications that meet business requirements. The Web Service Developer will work as a team member along with the Project Manager, Senior Developer and Business Analyst to deliver the complete solution for the customer.
Responsibilities:
Produce a technical specification to match Requirements and Solution Architecture; Code, unit test, and deploy web services using Oracle Fusion Middleware as per Client’s Integration Reference Architecture
Experience/Qualifications
- 5 to 10 years’ experience in the IT industry.
- A proven track record in enterprise technologies; organised and analytical; adept at working in a team environment; able to handle multiple priorities;
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent;
- Experience with Enterprise Service Bus configuration and custom development;
- Good knowledge and understanding of Web Service API’s for integration purposes;
- Ability to understand business requirements and converting them into solution designs;
- Knowledge in web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, network components, network software, authorisation and authentication technologies, and enterprise application architecture;
- Expertise in the following technologies: Integration technologies (Oracle Fusion Middleware), Java/J2EE, including SOAP, RESTful, .NET and related technologies (JSON, XML, etc);
- Familiar with, Agile project methodology and practices; and
- Proven Solutions consulting experience in large enterprises.
- Oracle Fusion Middleware Certification
- Professional appearance and behaviour for client facing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to upholding estimates of work
- Self-motivated, strong initiative
