Head of Product Design roles are few and far between and even fewer offer a real opportunity to take multiple globally-recognised award-winning products to market.

Working hand-in-hand with the newly created role of CPO, the Head of Design will 
be responsible for building the design practise for all new and existing products and platforms.

This newly created role has naturally evolved from the growing success of the business and the desire for our products to be more human and design centred.
  
As the Head of Product Design, you will be charged with creating the product design workflow and team structure that will enable collaboration between designers, product, and the engineering teams. To excel in this role, you must have an excellent understanding of how to apply design thinking methods in a distributed agile organisation.
  
Key responsibilities to include:

• Leading an initial team of 3 direct reports and indirect team of 12 UI, UX and CX design professionals across 6 product teams of various sizes
• Create a consistent user and customer experience across all of our technologies/platforms/products
• Contribute to product strategy as part of the product leadership team and establish a team structure and end-to-end workflow designed to best serve user and team needs
• Empower and mentor designers on your team, fostering a collaborative, productive, and positive environment
• Create a design style guide and pattern library for all teams
• Establishing an effective approach for user research and data driven improvement in user experience
• Empowering your team members to proactively lead design iteration cycles and push designs forward according to the team’s vision and in consideration of the business goals
• Manage a large variety of ongoing projects and anticipate skill requirements.
