Gruden, part of the IncentiaPay Group, is looking for an experienced Cloud Services Engineer with AWS experience to join their team in Sydney CBD. We have offices located in the heart of the CBD with a friendly and supportive team and environment to work with.

Key Responsibilities

·        Work with the technical director and other team members to architect and provision cloud-based environments.

·        Manage services and support provision via phone, face-to-face and collaboration tools.

·        Co-ordination of application and infrastructure environments.

·        Manage relevant system information security controls including but not limited to:

o   Environment hardening

o   Component patching

o   Encryption/key management

o   Threat & incident detection, response management & reporting

·        Monitoring, automation and alert management.

·        Environment performance & management reporting.

·        Ensuring infrastructure performance is optimised and regularly reviewed to seek out efficiency gains.

·        Documentation/procedure maintenance and adherence.

·        Networking infrastructure – traffic management, logging & load-balancing.

Essential

·        A strong client-centric service approach.

·        Recent and hands-on experience in supporting AWS applications and cloud infrastructures.

·        Recent and substantial experience in high availability digital solution delivery.

·        Good understanding of next generation managed service provisions.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication.

·        Be able to express yourself clearly and concisely and to adjust communications to accommodate audiences that are both technical and non-technical.

·        Experience with scripting languages (one or more in Windows Powershell, BASH / PHP / Python / Ruby).

·        Experience with Windows OS and IIS web server.

·        Experience with administrating and querying databases in MySQL and MS SQL

·        Experience with Windows OS (CentOS, RHEL).

·        Experience with load balancing (Session stickiness/ TLS /etc.).

·        Solid skills working with networks (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, etc).

·        Active Directory management and configuration experience.

·        Experience with meeting or exceeding demands on SLAs.

·        Strong team player – fits in easily with wide range of personalities.

·        "Can-do" approach to a wide and rapidly changing workload and ability to be flexible.

·        The ability to multi-task and work to deadlines.

·        Display tenacity and patience.

·        Technical writing and documentation.

Desired

·        AWS Professional certification (or willingness/ability to gain certification within 30 days).

·        Experience with Azure.

·        Experience with enterprise application servers, i.e. Apache, Tomcat.

·        Security appliances, i.e. Trend Micro Deep Security, Sophos UTM, Splunk. 

·        Technical writing and documentation.
