You need to know
- Active Directory
- Microsoft Windows Server administration & support.
- Sophos/FortiGate/Cisco network support - configure and maintain firewalls, switches & routers
- Storage (Multiple Vendors) favourable.
- Virtualization – VMware & Hyper-V– administration & creation of virtual machines
- Group Policy & Scripting(highly desirable)
- Clear and reliable understanding of Routing, Switching, LAN/WAN;
- Cloud infrastructure solutions
- Exchange
Your Duties
- Escalate requests/faults as and when required.
- Ensure service requests and incidents are resolved with contracted service levels agreements.
- Installing, configuring, testing, maintaining and administering new and upgraded networks, software database applications, servers and workstations
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor and relevant industry certifications would be highly regarded
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues and vendors;
Your Previous Experience
- Level 2-3 Engineers - a minimum of 3 years in a MSP environment
- Experienced at delivering IT support both alongside and remote from the customer
Your Qualities
- A team player with a 'can do' attitude
- Ability to relate well with clients, management, peers and vendors;
- Advanced proven troubleshooting skills
