The role:
Seeking a Drupal Developer to work with a young creative and vibrant digital agency located within the CBD just minutes from public transport.
Working with colleagues and prestige clients in a partnership to help achieve their business objectives. Operating on Drupal platforms to help key stakeholders achieve world’s best processes and practices in major assignments.
Key requirements:
- Deliver a step change in user experience within our digital channels:
- Write high performance, reusable code that is well tested.
- Implementation or modification of Drupal projects in accordance with functional and creative requirements.
- More intuitive grouping of content
- Creation of mobile responsive themes
- Development of rich and engaging content
- Creation of new Drupal modules or extension of existing Drupal modules
- Work closely with the Team lead and Project managers on technical issues and resolutions.
Further to this, in this role you will have the following responsibilities;
- Contribute expert knowledge for web-based systems and services to assist achievement of clients strategies and goals.
- Consult with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and organisational priorities for web-based systems.
- Translate business goals into technical requirements and using a high degree of specialist knowledge, provide technical recommendations to achieve the business goals.
- Manage the design, development and implementation of projects to deliver enhanced online systems and services
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of online technologies and identify improvements and efficiencies.
- Develop a maintenance plan for the core web-based systems and oversee the ongoing technical work needed to implement this plan.
Required skills:
- Drupal 7 & 8 experience
- Proven commercial experience developing websites on Drupal
- Ability to work in an autonomous environment
- Aquia certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with current best practices and technologies for front end web development such as HTML, CSS, JQuery (or other scripting tools for creating dynamic web interfaces).
- Demonstrated ability and experience working with one or more server-side web development toolsets such as the LAMP stack.
