This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a major focus on enabling a pragmatic outcome of the highest quality possible, given project constraints. Working closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, UX, Developers and the client, will ensure a high level of quality for all projects worked on, within the allocated time and budget. You will lead a team of Test Analysts and be responsible for supporting their development.

A day in the life as a Quality Assurance Team Lead will see you collaborating with developers to define requirements for test environment(s), data, resources and tools, providing specialist advice and mentoring others to ensure high standards of testing, coordinating user acceptance testing with internal and external stakeholders; and contributes to the continuing improvement of our Agile QA practice, to ensure that the team is using the most appropriate practices and tools, ensuring quality goals are met and enabling successful project delivery.

As Team Lead you will contribute to defining the QA practice roadmap and executing on company and team strategies including developing test automation capabilities across the team.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

The successful candidate must have the following:

ISTQB/ISEB certified
8+ years software testing/development experience
Team leadership experience
Demonstrable experience with automating testing of web and mobile applications
Solid understanding of Agile principles of Software Development – including Scrum
Strong understanding of the SDLC and Test Lifecycles
Good understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) concepts
Understanding of REST Web services SOAP concepts would be an advantage
Selenium Webdriver – C# and JavaScript or similar
Experience with SQL queries
Automation experience across some of these technologies:
- AngularJS
- ASP.NET MVC
- WebAPI
Performance testing (desirable)

Technical understanding of:

SQL Management studio
Team City
Git
Octopus deploy
Visual Studio
