Data Steward

This leading Australian Icon are going through a large business and technology change including and Agile and digital transformation, and the development of an exciting new business line which will commercialise it's rich datasets through an analytics platform.

We are looking for an experienced Data Steward to join this exciting start up arm of the business, whose role will be to be responsible for the end to end data management life-cycle from a governance and quality perspective, and be the teams datasets SME.

Requirements

• A strong understanding of Data governance and experience of implementing and managing within a large corporate business
• A background in data analysis, modelling and meta data management
• Experience in classifying data and understanding the importance attributes for data governance
• Exposure to Database models, ingestion tools and Big Data Technologies
• Data manipulation skills and knowledge of languages such as Python and SQL
• Experience working within and AGILE environment.
