With our Google Premier Partner badge and expansion into digital, we’re looking to expand the NAU team and we've got an exciting opportunity for an IT Support Officer to join our team.

The Role

Reporting to the IT and DevOps Manager, you will be self-motivated, energetic, and be a fast learner. We are also looking for a candidate who has: 

  • Experience in provisioning new Apple hardware including Mac and iPad
  • Strong OSX desktop support skills
  • Solid iOS and mobile device management knowledge
  • Basic Networking trouble shooting skills, especially TCP/IP
  • Experience in supporting a variety of bespoke and off-the-shelf applications
  • Strong understanding of web domain management including transfers
  • A good aptitude and demonstrated problem solving ability
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage your own time and priorities

Graduates or candidates with up to two years experience, and knowledge in these areas above are also encouraged to apply.

Knowledge or experience with any of the following technologies will be advantageous: iCloud, Adobe Creative Cloud, SFTP, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, IMAP, WHMCS, cPanel, Exchange, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Windows, Linux, Python/Ruby/Bash (or similar).

What you'll do.

As part of this role, you will be working within a technical team of systems, applications and support engineers and solutions architects and will be focused on supporting our head office staff and mobile sales force.

Main accountabilities of the role include:

  • Providing Level 1 technical support to end users, both face to face and remotely
  • Installing, maintaining and upgrading hardware and equipment for end users
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with quality outcomes
  • Assisting with access to network, print and file services, VPN and electronic mail
  • Ensuring Service Level Agreements and qualitative requirements are met

In addition, you will contribute to a strong team culture, enjoy working collaboratively and have a highly personable attitude with a focus on quality customer service. You will be wanting to interact with a highly skilled team, focused on innovation, automation and progressive technologies.
