Renowned household name is undergoing expansion in infrastructure are seeking a Business Analyst with experience working on large Windows 10 deployments in a complex environment.
An enterprise wide windows 10 roll out, requires a business analyst to urgently join them to drive forward to completion the roll out of this refresh, across over 12,000 users. This role will require a BA with experience working on windows projects, AND broad knowledge of infrastructure from project delivery to service management processes.
Key accountabilities include:
- Analyse/understand business challenges; map business processes to our existing systems or service, determine business process requirements and supporting system requirements
- Work with customers to understand their business processes and needs while managing expectations within the scope of the project
- Gather, document, validate business requirements, and translate those requirements into detailed technical requirements
- Provide support to Infrastructure Solutions Architect for design, test planning and transition to operations
- Reconcile conflicting requirements, provide solution analysis and prepare a summary of recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Continuously monitor and analyse potential impacts to business requirements and technical scope
- Contribute to development of solution proposals including business need, cost/benefit, feasibility and gap analysis
- Conduct risk assessments for solutions including impact on business process
- Conduct and/or facilitate User Acceptance Testing sessions, information sessions, and user training for new systems
- Keep well informed of emerging technologies and industry trends
Essential skills, qualifications and experienced required:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience working on Windows 10 SOE Refresh for up to 8,000 users
- Excellent analytical, multi-tasking, organizational and project management skills
- Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and integrity while delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to build dynamic business relationships with internal team members across the Business Units
- Excellent MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Visio and MS Project experience
- Must have basic understanding in the following areas:
- Servers (Windows)
- Storage (NAS/SAN)
- IT Security
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
