Based in Canberra, an excellent opportunity for a Delivery Lead has now arisen to support our Federal Government premium customer base. In this role, you will be bring together the synergy of the delivery teams in the areas of incident, change, problem, capacity, and configuration management and specifically owning the availability assessment.  Working with the Availability Assurance Team you will have accountability for meeting our customer’s contractually defined targets for a one of the following capabilities: Applications, Infrastructure Database and Risk Management. Ultimately your focus will be on the availability of our services and presenting the team’s performance to the accounts supported, you will also work with global service management and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities, but not limited too:

  • You will act as a single point-of-contact within Capability for the Account Delivery Operation (ADO).
  • Accountable to ensure that the delivery teams are meeting their commitments/deliverables and those escalations managed within the AST Model for the represented service tower.
  • Ensure services are delivered according to the Service description (SLO&SLA).
  • Support the ADL and Client Manager in Service Level Planning, Sales with a deep know how of the customer’s technical environment
  • Act as trusted advisor and possess deep technical competencies in the domain of capability focus to collaborate and facilitate with Account Subject Matter Experts/Technical Design Architects in designing, planning, implementing, state of the art IT solutions.
  • Collaborate and consult with AST representatives per Service capability in planning initiatives and changes that may affect related technologies.
  • Hold a coordination role within the Service Capability, which includes:
    • Identification  of technical resources to complete change related activities
    • Identification  of technical resource to support customer escalations
    • Communicate to their service delivery manager any large projects or non-routine work coming up to ensure adequate support cover is available.
    • Following up on various ITSM work processes execution in various delivery centers (on and off-shore, globally)."

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following key skills & experience:

  • Undergraduate degree/Diploma in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
  • Certification (e.g. MCSE, UX, CISCO, or SAP basis administration) depending on relevant technology
  • Extensive experience in relevant technology
  • Solid working experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support
  • Proven project management in matrix organizations and technical IT environments.
  • Ability to relate technical applications to business environment, processes and organization.
  • Ability to have good understanding of System Architecture concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a collaborative working environment.
  • Well-developed customer relationship skills and ability to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent understanding of ITSM\ITIL processes, preferably ITIL foundation certified
