Tatts Group is Australia’s largest provider of wagering, lotteries and gaming products and services.

 

Our gaming arm is staying ahead of the game through a modernisation of its entire gaming software suite. We want to make it even more successful by establishing DevOps practices as a core part of our agile workflow.

• Design, develop and maintain code, tests, scripts and tools across a diverse application suite
• Level up microservices-based systems with next generation monitoring and instrumentation
• Build and run at scale using cloud solutions wherever possible
• Refine and improve CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tooling
• Act as a role model, technical mentor, and change agent to the delivery teams
• Stay abreast of, experiment with, and evangelise the emerging tools and techniques
• Identify and actively work towards supporting continuous improvement opportunities.

 

• A passion for the craft of developing great software in a mix of languages and technologies such as node.js, .net, C++ and Go
• Expert knowledge in at least one of the following areas (or similar)
• test automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Gauge
• continuous integration/deployment tools like Chef, Drone, Team City and Octopus Deploy
• virtual environments and containers like Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker, AWS
• monitoring and alerting like Prometheus, AppDynamics, ELK, CloudWatch
• Prior experience coaching/mentoring.
• An understanding of working in a Lean or Agile environment
• You hold a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or some other closely related discipline or equivalent industry experience.
