The position:
  
Our client is looking for experienced team of Senior Test Analysts with a strong tech/ programming background, STLC and knowledge of financial markets. The successful candidate will be passionate about testing and can lead & deliver on personal and team goals. You will be working in a supportive and collaborative environment with the best experts in the field, who have various unique skills and background.
  
Key responsibilities:

• Development of the test automation framework and the building/supporting of various tools required to meet the need
• Lead and communicate the automation framework and strategy of test automation
• Maintain test automation as a service to the manual testers within the same testing team, and to people outside of testing team
• Maturing the framework to meet an evolving environment
• Communicate with other developers in regards to standard processes and practices to be followed
• Provide direction to the Senior Test Analyst (work allocation, mentoring and leadership)

  
Skills / Experience:

• Extensive experience with building test automation frameworks
• Extensive experience with software testing
• Strong skills in development in order to build services for customers
• Strong skills interrogating and manipulating databases
• Experience with XML and other message based protocols
• Proven experience in the financial markets space
• Test management tools e.g. HP ALM
• Test automation tools e.g. Selenium
• CI tools such as Jenkins or equivalent
• Strong scripting and programming skills e.g. Unix, Python, Java
• Database tools
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate the strategy you are building
• Excellent presentation skills (demos and workshops to peers)
