Our client is a successful and reputable technology company with a leading SaaS platform that provides intelligent search and automated workflow for professionals across the legal, conveyancing, banking, finance, insolvency, surveying, mercantile, accountancy and government sectors.
  
They are seeking a proactive and creative Automation DevOps Engineer to join their team. This exciting role will be working with the Infrastructure architect in designing and building automation, highly-scalable, fault tolerant, secure platform.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Automate infrastructure and deployments through infrastructure as code.
• Work with development team to provide scalability, availability and reliability of services
• Develop, maintain and troubleshoot the automated CI/CD environment.
• Participating in small, energetic teams on a rapid, agile development schedule.
• Providing technical assistance and information to other team members

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated development experience (from 2-5 years’ experience)
• Deep understanding of cloud services provided by AWS (Lambda, EC2, S3, Route53, ECS).
• Expert knowledge of Linux Operating Systems.
• Comprehensive CI/CD pipeline skills (Git, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline).
• Good database knowledge (RDBMS: MS SQL Server, NoSQL: DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
• Strong experience in configuration management tools (Preferred: Ansible, Puppet, OpsWorks).
• Proficiency in one of the following programming/scripting languages: Python, Bash, C#
• Strong in Infrastructure as a Code implementation (CloudFormation).
• Familiar with Blue-Green deployment to reduce downtime and risk.
• Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
• Demonstrated problem solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and task scheduling with minimal direction.
