We are seeking a level 2/3 technical support engineer to work on an Account of one of our major Managed Services Partners based in Macquarie Park. 

The role will be providing both Level 2/3 and advanced technical support for the Accounts Data Centre and overall network environment.  This is a hands-on role and will require an extensive technical background in data centre and networking technologies.  The role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities in the areas of data centre and networking products, including incident, problem and change activities in support of the Accounts network environment. 

Experience required to perform well in this role:

• At least 5-7 years experience in engineering, or a technical role preferable in data centre and networking and network security products technical support 
• Cisco CCNP level experience (CCIE preferred) within Data Centre, Service Provider andor Routing and Switching disciplines
• Infoblox administration and support
• F5 Viprion Load Balancer (LTM/GTM/ASM)
• Cisco ASR experience with previous hands on support
• Knowledge and experience in Network security with Checkpoint CCSA 
• Must possess a good knowledge of Cisco Data Centre Products and Services offerings 
• Must possess at least level 2-3 technical support capabilities on data centre, networking and network security configuration, design and support.

Desirable experience to the preferred candidate:

• Cisco CCIE level experience within  Data Centre and /or Routing and Switching disciplines
• Experience and competency in the above mentioned areas is critical, formal qualifications and/or practical experience in the following areas are highly desirable; 
• Bluecoat forward proxy
• Cisco storage experience with MDS SAN switches
• Solid understanding of FC and FCoE protocols
• Previous experience managing storage infrastructure
• Cisco ACI experience with previous hands-on support
