We are is looking for an enthusiastic Financial Systems Manager - 12 month Fixed term contract to join our team based at our Sydney Support Office.

As a Financial Systems Manager, you will administer, maintain, and develop the financial & reporting systems across the APAC region to facilitate accurate and timely production of business information.

The Role

  • Provide advice to ensure the achievement of Travelex’s objectives across all aspects of financial & reporting systems
  • Establish and manage processes for identifying and mitigating risk and maximising opportunities to innovate
  • Lead and manage the implementation and maintenance of the project schedule to ensure successful delivery of the project within agreed timeframes, resources and budget
  • Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects
  • Support the SAP Financial processes and master data configuration
  • Management of minimum 2 Team members
  • Ensuring system documentation for corporate applications is maintained
  • Ensuring service requests and incidents are addressed by the team within the relevant SLAs, and documented and managed within the service tracking system
  • Managing user security access and reviewing across systems
  • Building business cases, project plans/schedules
  • Implement improvements to the reporting process including the streamlining and automation of report collation and data collection procedures
  • Reconcile between the various financial systems, data marts and management reporting systems.
  • Work with the regional Finance team to ensure the integrity of information contained in the management reporting system
  • Maintain and enhance the business reporting suite using WEBI / Business Objects

  • An organised and structured approach to prioritizing tasks with the ability to set and meet deadlines
  • Advanced computer literacy, sound knowledge of SAP FICO & SAP Business Objects
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and be proactive in problem solving
  • Tenacity, drive and the ability to operate effectively in a demanding environment
  • Strong management skills leading small to medium sized teams

Qualifications and Experience

  • +5 years post qualification experience, experience with international clients preferred
  • Strong systems skills in systems implementation, maintenance and enhancement
  • Experience in Reporting systems (Business Objects / WEBI Reports)
  • Administration experience of ERP systems (SAP FICO)
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem solving skills and exposure to risk management and governance processes;
  • Broad knowledge and expertise in managing and delivering small to medium scale enhancements
