About the Role:
We're on the lookout for a HP IPG Product Manager to join our expanding Commercial and Consumer Group.
As a HPI Product Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of the vendor partnership are managed profitably for Ingram Micro whilst achieving vendor sales targets. This includes responsibility for stock, pricing, rebate achievement and payment, and appropriate marketing programs and sales team mindshare.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a high volume of inventory by product group
- Developing an inventory plan aligned to HPI & Ingram Micro objectives
- Identify sales trends, DIFOT and gap analysis on an ongoing basis
- Management of portfolio to ensure profitability & achievement of financial targets
- Review aged stock report on a daily basis & take action to clear obsolete stock
- Maximising mindshare for HPI products with the sales team
- Offering appropriate level of sales support
- Nurturing the HPI relationship
Experience Needed:
- Works comfortably under pressure & with tight deadlines
- Experience in a vendor or supplier capacity,preferably within the volume sector
- Advanced Excel skills
- Passionate about technology
- SAP experience is highly advantageous
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Good organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
The successful candidate will also have a high attention to detail, have a proactive rather than reactive nature and a professional and mature outlook. You will be an accomplished negotiator who looks for win/win outcomes and have a strong customer focus.
