We are looking for Systems Engineer to join our ICT team. This is a hands on and forward thinking technology environment, so we are looking for someone who shares our passion and enjoys working collaboratively.

Your New Role

Reporting to the ICT Infrastructure Team Leader your responsibilities will include:

  • Day to day maintenance of servers and network infrastructure.
  • Identifying and rectifying risks to infrastructure.
  • Management of core systems, network installation, upgrades, change implementation and testing.
  • Proactively performing required system monitoring, alert response, maintenance and patching activities.
  • Ensuring DR strategy and backup of system data is completed daily in accordance with procedures and
  • Participating in business improvement projects.

About You

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a corporate ICT environment, including business improvement or business analysis processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in overseeing ICT infrastructure and staff.
  • Methodical and logical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure or application problems with little or no assistance.
  • Experience designing and deploying reports, dashboards and alerting.
  • Adept at automation and reporting scripts to drive a more proactive support environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving, patience, flexibility and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Solid working knowledge and understanding of Windows Servers and Virtualisation Technologies (Hyper-V)
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge and systems experience at a senior level in a corporate environment with the following technologies:
    • Office 365
    • Microsoft Azure
    • Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM)
    • Active Directory, Group Policy and DNS
  • Experience in the following would be advantageous:
  • Skype for Business Server and Contact Centre software
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • SAN Storage
  • Networking, TCP/IP and LAN/WAN
  • Ubuntu and Red Hat
