We are looking for 1 person to join our IT team in the role of Senior Service Delivery Officer. Are you an enthusiastic person with a great “can do” attitude? This role will give you the opportunity to be innovative and focus on system improvements. You will be responsible for supporting customers of Goodstart ICT in the use of our systems and for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, especially multi-user computers. In addition, you will perform diagnosis and fault resolution on requests of work escalated through the Goodstart Solution Centre providing high-level technical support, creation and maintenance of documentation, maintaining hardware and software standards, and participating in projects as required.

 Key responsibilities of the position include:

• Advanced investigation and troubleshooting of IT incidents and underlying problems
• Working with approved third-party vendors to provide services and resolve user/centre based issues
• Escalation point for IT incidents to manage and communicate to stakeholders
• Monitoring and management of IT environments for proactive support
• Proactive escalation and management of critical outages and security incidents
• Support Solution Centre officers during peak periods on the IT help desk phone system
• Assign, configure and maintain directory services authentication and authorisation
• Support, configure and administer IT services and technologies with a focus on automation utilising Powershell scripting or other relevant solution

 To succeed in this position, you will have:

• Degree in Information Technology related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCSE MCSA) at least one of the technologies used by Goodstart – Windows 10,Desktop Infrastructure, System Centre, Windows Client, or Cloud virtualisation.
• A passion for development of automated solutions

A mixture of the following:

• Microsoft Azure / Windows Server Operations
• Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive for Business Administration
• Microsoft SQL Server Operations
• PowerShell, VB Script, or other relevant scripting languages
• Patching operations
• SCCM & SCEP deployment and management of endpoint clients
