The role:
The Senior Technology Officer will provide high quality technical support, adhering to department standards, policies, procedures and ITSM processes in order to maintain defined enterprise service levels as well as assist management in decision making by providing sound oral and written advice including technical reports and specifications and trend analysis within eHealth Queensland.
Are you right for this role?
To be successful in the role of Senior Technology Officer, you will demonstrate:
- Ability or the ability to quickly learn Service Now; Service Desk and ITIL Service Management processes. (SFIA: SLMO Level 3)
- Knowledge or the ability to quickly acquire knowledge of the following:
- Basic directory technology concepts, i.e.: eDirectory, Active Directory, LDAP;
- Basic identity management concepts, specifically NetIQ IDM. Any scripting skills would be an advantage; and
- Linux based operating Systems such as Open Enterprise Server and an understanding of virtualisation of Operating Systems
- Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Ability to plan, prioritise, organise and set realistic timeframes to achieve desired outcomes and to meet deadlines for both self and team. (NHS: Drive for results)
