Empired's Virtualised Networks & Security team are looking for a professional Network Engineers to join an already successful practice. You'll be working within a varied, complex BAU environment with one of Empired's valued customers, working with a team of lively, humorous professionals in a collaborative atmosphere.

What you'll need to be successful:

• 3+ years’ experience in the IT industry, preferably in large and complex environments and within teams of IT professionals
• Experience with Data centre concepts and design
• Excellent problem-solving skills from diagnosis
• Excellent implementation and documentation skills
• Experience liaising with and working alongside engineers from other technology groups such as Virtualisation, Storage and Microsoft Engineers
• Understanding ITIL methodologies

  
Highly Desirable :

• CCNP
• Check Point knowledge (multiple firewalls and a distributed deployment)
  and/or 
• F5 knowledge
• IP/DNS Management
• SSL Certificate Authentication & Management
• Big-IP
• Global Traffic Management
• Local Traffic Management load balancer
• Application Security Management
• CCSA certification desirable
• Knowledge of VSX desirable
• Cisco wireless and voice would be well received
