Your new company
A Victorian Government organisations Requires an Application Packaging Specialist for 5 month contract starting at short notice.
Your new role
In this complex role you will be responsible for:
- Testing, validating an verifying the organisation’s portfolio of applications on their Windows 10 SOE
- Responsible for the assessment of packaged software, to validate and verify that the deployment of software to the desktop results in a solution that is fit for purpose. In addition you will focus on ensuring that the technical integrity of a product, process or system is analysed, scrutinised, monitored, maintained & controlled
- Assess, remediate and advise on the use and fit software applications for consumption on the Windows 10 SOE
- Assist with requirements gathering and architecture design of new applications Participate in workshops with internal/external stakeholders
- Diagnosing and remediating technical issues or faults
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Application Profiling and packaging various applications for enterprise Windows 10 SOE
- Preparation of the test environment (hardware and software)
- Design test cases/scripts and Execute test cases/scripts using Powershell
- Fault analysis (3rd level technical support minimum)
- Reporting and advising on best practice and solutions across application packaging - provide defect, progress and summary reports as required
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation pertaining to hardware and software
