About the Client:
A Federal Government Agency responsible for providing the infrastructure for safety of navigation in Australian waters, and maintaining a national search and rescue service for the maritime and aviation sectors.
About the role:
As the Business Analyst, you will
- Prepare and maintain the business analysis products required by the project, including process definition and modelling, business requirements, data mapping and other products as required;
- Engage relevant stakeholders to ensure the business requirements are accurately captured and agreed and that stakeholders are fully informed and engaged;
- Liaise with external suppliers or account managers associated with outcomes; and
- Identify issues and escalate for review and corrective action where necessary.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience working as a Business Analyst delivering multi-faceted artefacts for government programs and/or projects.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in requirements elicitation and definition, business process reengineering and process mapping.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating workshops.
- Strong business client engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing and documenting guidelines and operational procedures.
- Demonstrated experience developing and operationalising processes using BPMN and associated toolsets.
- Experience developing user acceptance testing procedures.
