Our client has developed a cloud-native and market-leading technology platform which is used to orchestrate their fleet of 74 vessels and to offer their customers hundreds of unique tourism experiences.
About the team
The IT team and software systems are instrumental in helping their customers enjoy iconic destinations across Australia. The software team is responsible for continually driving digitisation of the business; they bring new innovations and automation techniques from the forefront of the technology industry and apply them to their industry sector.
About your role
We’re looking for applications from software engineers and developers who are interested in joining our clients’ elite team, based in one of the world’s most liveable cities. The team shares a commitment to fundamental code quality, rapid feature delivery, delighted customers and team collaboration.
As a software engineer, your primary function will be to develop and deliver software solutions required by the business. You will bring the following skills and experience:
- Programming skills in Ruby on Rails or a similar development framework.
- Competency in developing enterprise software in 3GLs such as Ruby, .NET and Java EE.
- A strong technical background and 2+ years’ commercial experience, preferably as part of a technology team.
- Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A demonstrable passion for building things.
