The role
We are currently seeking a Software Developer to join the Redbook team. Redbook is Australia’s favourite vehicle valuation and information website.
  
You will focus on delivering good quality, maintainable and scalable solutions in a timely manner. You should be business focused, with the ability to demonstrate yourself as a learner, a teacher, a doer and an enabler! The role will encompass all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and analysis, design, estimation of time and effort, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment
& maintenance.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and maintain world-class services utilised within the carsales network, with focus on efficiency, scalability, stability and customer satisfaction
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa
• Maintain and improve the overall quality of the code base
• Integrate with internal and external systems
• Work effectively in small, diverse agile team
• Work closely with other members of the tribe to develop and document solutions to problems.

  
What you’ll have

• Relevant tertiary qualifications (Computer Science or equivalent)
• Exposure with C#
• Experience with relational databases and database design
• Great stakeholder management skills
• A passion for code design and building quality customer-focused solutions
• Ability to work problem solve and work closely with produce stakeholders
