About the team
- Join the Data Management & Monitoring team and lead Amadeus applications to the cloud.
- You will be part of a global team working around the clock to deliver core components to the demanding Amadeus infrastructure.
- You will work on data stores (SQL and NoSQL), logging and monitoring platforms, leveraging on Automation and Cloud technologies to deploy and operate those components at scale.
About the role
As a Service Reliability Engineer, you’ll be in charge of those components providing Software as a Service to products from all Amadeus businesses: Distribution, Airline IT, Airport IT, Hotel , etc…
Embracing DevOps philosophy and tools, you will implement and improve the automation required to deploy and run those components.
You’ll also ensure the system stability by troubleshooting live incidents in collaboration with frontline teams.
On your first day, you will bring:
• University degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• A significant experience with IT operations in a significantly large production environment (3+ years)
• Linux System Administration knowledge and experience
• Experience with Configuration Management and Infrastructure Deployment tools like Puppet, Chef or Ansible
You will be a perfect fit if you have experience with:
• Cloud platforms like Openstack, AWS, GCE, etc. and knowledge of their respective API’s
• System programming using languages like Python, Go, Ruby, etc.
• DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.
• NoSQL data store administration (Mongodb, Couchbase, ELK, Hadoop, scality, kafka)
• RDBMS administration (Oracle, MariaDB)
• Splunk administration
