Your new company
Service Delivery is responsible for the design, build, run and monitoring of services to customers of this organisation. The Change and Release Analyst assists in the management of ITIL v3 Change and Release Management processes in accordance with defined policies, procedures, standards and ensures compliance to the Service Transition framework.


Your new role

  • Provide life cycle management support for Changes & Releases in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Assist the Change and Release Manager in managing changes to the IT environment through the change and release management process.
  • Review, assess and approve or reject Requests for Change (RFCs) and Release Requests, in collaboration with the Change and Release Manager, initiator and stakeholders.
  • Evaluate risks to integrity of the business application and infrastructure inherent in proposed changes or releases and seek authority for those activities. Assist the Change and Release Manager with Change Advisory Board (CAB) preparations and other Change and Release forums or meetings.
  • Manage all process aspects of assessment, delivery, testing and implementation of individual releases and changes.
  • Support the definition and implementation of reusable, accurate and correct change and release templates, in collaboration with change and release stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of change, release and deployment operating frameworks (policies, standards, processes, FAQs).



What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated knowledge, capability and experience in the delivery of ITIL aligned Change and Release Management processes and tools within a complex environment to multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to consider issues from different perspectives and draw commercially sound recommendations.
  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to credibly communicate, facilitate and influence outcomes at all levels of the organisation.
  • Dedication to customer service with demonstrated experience in leading and implementing initiatives that deliver improved customer experience.
