Your new company
A Victorian State Government agency requires a Service Desk Analyst for a 6 month engagement to start at short notice
Your new role
Working in a collaborative and supportive team, you will be responsible for being the first point of contact for all incoming IT issues to a large customer base. you will be responsible for:
- effectively resolving and escalating level 1 IT issues including hardware, applications and email.
- educate and support users around their IT issues
- Log IT issues on BMC Remedy
- Communicate outages and interruptions to the customer base
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position you will have;
- Extensive experience working in a large fast paced Service Desk environment
- Broad knowledge across Windows, MS Office applications and Lotus Notes
- Active Directory including Group Policies
- Excellent customer service skills over the phone
- Knowledge of service desk tools and ITIL
