Ayan Infotech is in urgent need of a DevOps Java Engineer to take up an exciting permanent opportunity in Melbourne. We require a full stack Java Engineer - Engineer who comes with an Engineering principles mindset and excellent problem solver.

Responsibilities will include:

• Use continuous delivery practices to increase delivery speed
• Work in collaborative teams to build innovative solutions
• Utilise tools and practices to build, verify and deploy solutions in the most efficient ways, enhancing tech division capabilities
• Implement a culture within the Tribe and the Chapter, encouraging best practices around reviews, quality and documentation
• Create estimates and continuously review demand within the individual Squads
• Contribute to Engineering communities, meetups and conferences to promote technology development culture and practices
• Create, understand and monitor application metrics
• Provide ongoing support for platforms as required e.g. problem and incident management

Skills and experience required

• Minimum 8 years commercial experience in IT.
• Domain Knowledge: Agile Software development, CI\CD, Cloud based technologies, engineering iconic user experiences and knowledge of financial services products
• Experience: Java, React Native, React/Redux, Spring Boot, Node.js, Web Frameworks, Docker, OpenShift/Kubernetes, SQL (Oracle/Postgres), NoSQL (MongoDB), CI/CD, Process Automation, application systems design, cloud native and server less computing (to name a few)
