One of our government clients is looking for a Senior System Administrator to join their team to be based near Sydney CBD .This will be an initial role till July middle 2019 + possible extension . The successful candidate will need to clearly demonstrate, current Windows administration experience within a medium to large environment and have a positive, proactive attitude to confidently deliver quality results without close supervision.

Essential Skills

Proven experience in Windows Server administration; including

• Remote troubleshooting techniques
  
• Maintaining environment system health
  
• Operational HyperV virtualisation knowledge
  
• Operational File and printing server knowledge
  
  Strong knowledge of networking technologies and their protocols; including
  
• DHCP scope configuration and the automatic deployment of
  
• Server configuration on VLAN subnets and the technical troubleshooting of
  
• Intermediate Windows server TCP/IP network routing principals
  
• Remote deployment and operational understanding of RADIUS configuration
  
  Proven experience in Windows automation; including
  
• Streamlining routine support tasks
  
• Developing PowerShell scripting solutions
  
  Experience working with Dell server infrastructure; including
  
• Operational iDRAC functionality
  
• Operational OMSA functionality
  
• Intermediate Hardware RAID configuration
  
  Operational knowledge of Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager deployment methodologies
  
• Strong written and verbal customer service communication skills
  
• Clear understanding of ITIL Change, Problem and Incident frameworks.
