The Role:
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer, the Program Manager will develop and execute the overall program of work relating to all data and analytics initiatives across the organisation. Foremost, the role is a leadership position and will take responsibility of the day to day management of the teams to ensure the delivery of projects is aligned to the strategic vision of QUT, within budget and scope as well as adding value to the stakeholders across the organisation.
With a focus on managing projects from deliverables and milestones through to service delivery, the monitoring of risks, mitigation strategies, scope variations and the provision of support to project managers will ensure optimal service. A fundamental requirement of the role will be the ability to work effectively with and engage stakeholders to communicate program progress as well providing the Executive with overview updates on the ongoing opportunities to be delivered.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a high level of resilience, creativity, innovation and ethical thinking to ensure all programs deliver long term benefits to the University.
The Person/You:
To be considered for this position you will possess tertiary qualifications in a relevant business discipline and demonstrated Program Management experience in large technology projects focused on data and analytics from within a complex services environment. The ability to manage stakeholder expectations to deliver key outcomes through a high level of negotiation and influencing as well as managing workforce planning and project capacity is essential. The above skills are non-negotiable requirements for the position.
