The company 
My client a leading Investment Bank in Sydney's CBD are currently seeking a senior level Trade Floor Support Analyst to work in its growing Sydney technical support & development team. This is a permanent opportunity with the role operating within FX trading team who have a very strong reputation within the business. A good understanding of FX products, exposure to pricing and dealing is essential for this role!!! 

You will require 
- Investment Bank or Hedge Fund work experience front office trade floor support
- Strong Linux, Unix, SQL Server, Oracle and or Sybase, FIX Protocol
- Strong Scripting 
-Solid support background with Algo / HFT platforms 
- Database config, operations and admin
- Superior communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Desire to take ownership of projects
- Strong interest of finance and trading and a good knowledge of FX 

You must be able to deal with client queries in a dynamic high pressure environment, working out solutions quickly and effectively 

Desired
- A good working knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters 
- Knowledge of pricing and dealing and experience working with traders
- Knowledge on how to build strong relationships with traders is essential
