This opportunity sits with a Global Insure based in Sydney CBD. They are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to join their growing team. As a Network Specialist, you will utilise your extensive network experience across a multitude of networking technologies.
The position comes with a diverse range of responsibilities and challenges, such as:
- Configuration and maintenance of the company's networking and communications infrastructure
- Providing technical input regarding the company network design, proposing ideas and solutions for network service improvement
- Network management and systems maintenance to ensure the integrity of the network
- Direct regular audits of network components to ensure that all network devices are being constantly managed and monitored
- Provide technical expertise in the area of data and network performance and upgrades, for both day to day activities and projects.
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Strong hands-on experience in Routing & Switching (Cisco)
- Expertise in design and support of modern Datacentre Network environment (Cisco Nexus)
- Excellent, true L3 network troubleshooting skills
Optional but beneficial skills:
- Experience in managing/maintaining Citrix ADC products (MPX/SDX/VPX)
- Experience with CitrixNet Scaler would be desirable but not a must!
- Expertise in managing/maintaining Riverbed WAN optimisation products
