One of our key Banking clients is currently implementing improvements to their earlier commitments to their Customer First promises. With a goal to becoming the leader in the ABA Better Banking Initiatives, we are seeking several professionals to complement this plan.
Our client is seeking a Delivery Lead to join their team for a long term engagement, based in the CBD, this position has strong potential for career growth.
The Delivery Lead will be expected to:
- Facilitate daily stand-ups
- Lead and participate at iteration planning.
- Lead and participate in retrospectives.
- Respond to changes in workload demand by ensuring that the teams skills and sizes as appropriate.
- Work with the Business Analysis team to prioritise, review, and elaborate the requirements for a release.
- End to end management of releases and iterations, which includes ensuring that the development team is focused on the appropriate stories and prioritising where and when required.
- Generate fortnightly sprint reports communicating progress against plan, delivery status, risks, issues, dependencies
Main duties/responsibilities / requirements:
Experience Level
• 9+ years total experience
• 4+ years as Delivery Lead
• Experience in corporate environment
Technical Skills
• Experience in managing large, complex projects in an unpredictable environment with competing priorities.
• Strong, existing experience in leading technical teams.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and CD/CI process.
• Development and delivery of customer facing digital assets using Agile Scrum or Agile Lean methodology.
• Excellent communication, organization and time management skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing/presentations skills.
• Risk assessment, planning and mitigation.
• Strong analytical / problem-solving skills.
