The purpose of my role is to:

As an integral part of the Telephony Services Team, the Solution Design/Senior Telephony Engineer will provide technical support to design and provision and operate the Bupa Contact Centre and Telephony services to meet the reliability/availability standards as agreed with the business to support all day to day operations and meet Service Level Agreements (SLA) and performance targets.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Experience using and monitoring genesys suite of products
  • Commercial IT experience, attainted in a similar Contact Centre/Telephony engineering role.
  • Solutions design for new capabilities, documentation and implementation for the contact centre 
  • A level of technical expertise in the support and management of Contact Centre and Telephony Infrastructure. Ability to produce and review technical solution design documentation.
  • Experience with DevOps and Agile delivery principals.
  • Experience in producing telephony services solution design documentation to be used by delivery teams.
  • Certifications in relevant fields are high regarded.
  • ITIL experience and relevant understanding
  • Good level of technical knowledge across the defined areas of responsibility for this role
  • Strong Skills in the configuration and maintenance of Contact Centre infrastructure, including the ability to support a variety of technologies.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts and 1st level troubleshooting ability
