About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Front-End Web Developer to make their mark using modern web tools to build and update our customer facing websites.
Working with an agile team you will be responsible for:
- Developing new front-end elements and functionality using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Provide realistic estimates of time and complexity of requested user stories.
- Working closely with team to ensure consistency, help build out development standards and evolve our best practices.
About You
- 3-5 years’ experience developing responsive web sites and applications with modern HTML, SCSS and JavaScript.
- Strong experience writing custom CSS code to bring designs to life. Experience with CSS pre-processors such as SASS or LESS is essential.
- Experience with version control systems such as GIT
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience working in a creative/digital agency is highly regarded
- Knowledge of static site generators eg. Jekyll, Gatsby or Middleman
- Some exposure to modern JS frameworks such as Vue, React or Angular
