Attribute Consulting has a great opportunity is available for a Senior Network Systems Engineer to join a leading company in Melbourne.  This role is offering strong career progression along with an attractive salary.

As a Senior Network Engineer you will ensure the smooth operation across the entire network and Firewalls, supporting the infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Networks, Virtual Platforms) and Enterprise Applications for the company's software at both new and existing client sites.

This role would suit a highly motivated individual who enjoys working to the highest standards, in a fast paced technical environment with a lot of variety.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational support
• Experience managing large scale enterprise networks with over 1,000 users
• SME design and implementation experience with switching, routers, firewalls and wireless
• Strong hands on experience with Web Application Firewalls (Imperva)
• Technical expertise of networking technology switching and routing (Cisco, HP, Brocade, Dell)
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing large, complex network environments
• Hands on experience in Firewall configuration and maintenance (Checkpoint, Fortinet and Cisco)
• Strong hands on experience with Web Application Firewalls (Imperva)
• Design and implementation experience with switching, routers, firewalls and wireless
• Hands on experience with Web/Reverse Proxy Devices (Blue Coat)
• Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/12 server and TCP/IP networking, DHCP, DNS
• Proven experience with scripting, Perl, VB, Powershell, Kix Script etc
• Knowledge and Experience working at an Enterprise level environment
• Experience in working with external vendors
• Previous experience working in an operational 24*7 environment
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
• Diploma or university degree in computer science or information technology and relevant work experience or industry experience
• CCNP/CCIE or equivalent
