My client is an exciting, vibrant, energetic and progressive company employing over 2000 staff nationally. They deliver entertainment solutions with the ability to reach 95% of Australian’s through Radio, TV and Digital channels. Based in the heart of the CBD they have modern offices with huge balconies overlooking the city, great for BBQs and beers with the team.
As a Digital Frontend Developer you will develop, test, and maintain new and existing websites and applications. This includes working in a team to bring designs and requirements to life with user-friendly, appealing, interactive and groundbreaking results.
You will contribute to scoping, building, testing and implementing new feature enhancements within existing systems as requested by internal business units.
- 2+ years’ developing web applications using vanilla JavaScript skills with experience using ES5, ES6 +
- 2+ years’ developing responsive mobile first high traffic commercial websites using HTML5 and CSS3
- Building websites which comply to W3C standards and enhanced for SEO
- Developing for across evergreen browsers and device platforms, including strengths and limitations
- Development & Agile Tools such as Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams, GitLab
- Passion for web development, desire to explore current trends, standards and tools used by bleeding edge web software teams
- Usage of CSS pre-processors (SASS or LESS)
- Use of source control (GIT)
- Working with designers and an eye for design / UI
- Agile/Scrum/Kanban methodologies and SDLC concepts in general
