Our dedicated team of service designers sit at the forefront of this mission and we work alongside other disciplines across Deloitte to create an impact that matters.

As a service designer at Deloitte Digital, you will be working on projects in a collaborative team environment, following Design Thinking and Human-Centred Design principles to create meaningful solutions for our clients and their employees, users and customers.

Your responsibilities
  • Shaping and leading research to help inform business decisions
  • Leading the analysis and synthesis of data to generate insights to apply to the improvement of the business
  • Leading the development and execution of high quality artefacts supporting our insights and recommendations
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their complete business needs, with a focus on providing the most impactful and meaningful solutions
  • Align clients around digital adoption, agile, & lean design and innovation delivery
  • Managing and coaching more junior members of the Deloitte teams with a focus on crafting a successful and client centric environment that facilitates opportunities to develop for all levels of staff
  • Planning, scoping, budgeting and shaping the elements of projects and programmes
  • Identification of on-sell opportunities through existing client engagements
Your skills and experience
  • At least 5 years of human-centred design, or similar, professional practice; consulting experience is a plus
  • A passion for creating human-centred experiences that delight end users and that solve business problems
  • You bring a toolkit of methods, processes and approaches that you’ve built up over time and experience
  • Effective communicator and presenter, verbal, written and visual, with the ability to lead or contribute to workshops and client showcases
  • Natural intellectual curiosity and problem solving drive
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage successful multi-disciplinary teams, as well as manage projects end-to-end from a budgetary and client relationship perspective
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and help them to influence decisions
  • A desire to contribute to the broader success of the Experience Design team by playing a mentoring and coaching role to other team members
  • The ability to get your hands on with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe CS/CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.), Axure, or other design tools is a bonus
  • You will have a tertiary qualification in UX, interaction design, product design, visual design, industrial design, architecture or other relevant design discipline
