This role provides HR Leadership for program and project delivery and PMO Public Servants in the LIS Program. Providing expert knowledge and support, the Director will manage the program and project assurance (internal and external aligned to Managing Successful Programs (MSP) and Queensland Government Chief Information Office (QGCIO) frameworks, risk and issue management, budget, and all procurement and vendor management functions. The Director, PMO in the LIS Program reports to the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO); and for operational day to day matters to the LIS Program Delivery Manager.

- Outstanding record of success in program/project leadership and management, both in results achieved and in the use of project management methodology in high profile, complex, high impact projects of substantial scope.
- Demonstrated capability to effect change in a complex public-sector environment and provide effective executive level, strategic leadership across diverse elements of high profile, high impact projects or programs of substantial scope.
- Executive level communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, stakeholder engagement, and conflict resolution and change advocacy skills.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, the capacity to exercise sound judgement and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated capability to direct, coach and develop team members, to inspire and motivate team members and encourage and facilitate results orientation.
- While not mandatory, project management qualifications would be well regarded.
