A newly created opportunity has arisen for a highly driven Enterprise Architect at CTO level to join a leading global consulting organisation on a permanent basis. This is an opportunity to lead an enterprise level account, one of the best Australian success stories, and work with a small team of likeminded professionals, who are strategic thinkers and are at the top of the game in identifying technical trends and applying innovative solutions to solve complex problems.

This role will encompass your strategic and technology driven mindset as you work closely with the sales and delivery teams to identify, craft and drive solutions for large and complex programs of work within the account. This will range from pre-sales activities, advising on best fit technologies, products and platforms to name a few, and articulate the technology vision taking this organisation into the future.
  
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

• Identifying opportunities in the account, develop solution propositions and prototype and proactively take them to market.
• Customer engagement, networking and collaborating with CIO, CTO and Chief architect level professionals within the client organization.
• Develop viewpoints on industry and technology trends influencing enterprise architecture, publishing and speaking in reputed industry and partner forums.

To be successful in this position, you will posses the following skills and experience;

• 10 + years of IT experience, with at a minimum of 5 years of experience in the areas of Digital Technology strategy and Enterprise architecture.
• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in leading & delivering one or more Digital technology transformation or complex programs of work.
• Possess strong knowledge and awareness of open source technologies, frameworks and tools that are utilised and available in the market.
• Should be fully-in tune with technology to the level where you can still apply and review code for various languages (e.g. detailed design, code, configuration). 
• Previous experience in leading a team of architects as part of a large program, along with providing guidance, coaching and mentoring.
• Ability to provide the vision and guidance for the best platform based approach, identifying automation opportunities and applying automation solutions as a part of the digital capabilities vision.
• Solid understanding and practical experience of the EA frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
• Excellent communication and articulation skills.
