Do you want to be part of designing a major upgrade to a world-class airborne surveillance and control platform?
Be a part of Boeing Defence Australia's (BDA) Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance Division that supports our Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C) work through sustainment and upgrades to Australia's Wedgetail fleet.
BDA is currently looking for a Software Tester based in Brisbane. This is a technical role in the Mission Systems Test Team and will develop SW Test procedures and plans to support the Wedgetail upgrade program.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Working across design, implementation, integration and test phases with development and integration teams to produce test artefacts.
- Working per test plans and developing procedures within complex technical and programmatic environments.
- Communication and close engagement with SW Test Team Lead.
- Managing the execution of assigned work packages.
To be successful you will have:
- An ability to perform complex technical test activities
- An ability to manage and individually allocated work packages
- Knowledge of test methodologies and execution concepts
- Strong team focus and ability to collaborate across domains
Experience with some or all of the following is desirable:
- Software Engineering and Software Testing
- Systems Engineering methodologies
- Airborne computing & networking hardware and software
- Prior Wedgetail or AEW&C experience and/or knowledge
