Telecommunications Technician – RBS Installation, Integration & Commissioning
We are seeking experienced telecommunications technicians with very strong radio equipment installation, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting skills to join our growing and existing crews in VIC/NSW/QLD/SA.
The candidate will need to meet the following requirements to be shortlisted:
- Must have experience working on Telstra and Vodafone and Optus 2G/3G/LTE RBS/BTS Equipment as well as Microwave radios.
- Able to go by clients' specifications, standards and HSE guidelines.
- Very good communications skills
- Can work efficiently and have good work ethics.
- Provide quality installation following applicable standards and be competent in troubleshooting.
- Able to read and interpret clearly technical design documents, and implement/install equipment as per design, as well as propose changes for effective project delivery.
- Have experience working with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia equipment
- Able to technically assist riggers on-site.
- Able to use PIM tester and spectrum analyser (or site master) respectively for PIM testing & feeder sweep.
- Liaise with NOC team to clear alarms such as VSWR, RTWP etc
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the industry.
- Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word.
- Be available to work full-time Monday to Friday and at times over the weekend.
- Must be permitted to work in Australia (applicants with valid 457 visa are not excepted)

- Australian driver's license
- White card
- Telstra, Optus and Vodafone safety inductions
- RADHAZ Awareness
- Working at height
- First aid & CPR
