We support a wide variety of projects, journeys, and experiments, across digital design, spatial design, and service design. Your new job

We're looking for a Lead UX Designer to be part of our awesome Experience Design team. You will:

  • Lead initiatives to create best-in-class, usable and accessible user experiences for products, services, and features
  • Lead, coach and mentor others in the design of the experience, through task analysis, flows, information architecture, and screen interactions
  • Influence and support backlog grooming and other business requirements activities to shape products in a way that is the most desirable for NAB's customers
  • Plan, lead and conduct research, co-design and customer testing to further define solutions, and validate design

Experience and skills you'll need

5+ years of experience in a Lead UX role, demonstrating:

  • Expert working knowledge of the design processes, methodologies and principles
  • Strong communication and presenting skills and proven ability to influence outcomes
  • Ability to analyse requirements, and can demonstrate how you've influenced change for a digital service
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring designers through design critiques, co-design sessions and retrospectives with members of desgn teams and other stakeholders
  • Outstanding experience design skills to create artefacts such as task and user flows, information architectures and wireframes
  • Can lead, and coach and mentor others working within agile environments, using relevant practices and principles such as: Lean UX, Minimum Viable Product, User stories, Acceptance criteria, Rapid Prototyping
  • Highly skilled in design tools such as Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite
