One of our premium clients based in Darwin is looking for a highly experienced and committed Test Automation Engineer. This key role is responsible Utilising the existing test automation framework to deliver quality hand-crafted functional test automation capability that will scale as the program grows and adhere to industry best practices. In this role, you will be given the opportunity to make a tangible contribution to the continued innovation and success of the company.
Required Skills
- Experience with the utilisation of test management and test automation tools;
- Minimum 3 years recent full-time experience as a test automation engineer;
- Minimum 3 years recent full-time experience with SmartBear TestComplete (Jscript) or similar;
- Intermediate to advanced Jscript/JavaScript development skills;
- Experience in identifying test automation candidates to increase test productivity, speed of delivery, and test coverage;
- Intermediate to advanced skills with SQL Server databases and T-SQL;
- Familiarity with the DOM and COM programming;
- Ability to understand object oriented concepts as implemented in Jscript;
- Knowledge of Git version control software.
Desirable Skills
- Applied knowledge of Jenkins continuous integration software or similar;
- Commercial software development experience would be well regarded;
- Experience in non-functional testing including load, disaster recovery, and security testing;
- Health industry experience and general familiarity with clinical terminology, data and systems will be well regarded;
- Experience with InterSystems TrakCare system
- Experience with HL7 messaging; would be well regarded;
- Experience with InterSystems HealthShare and/or Ensemble Integration engines;
- Experience working in a large scale/ multi-year program environment will be well regarded;
- ISTQB certification;
- University Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or related field;
