As the System Analyst / Test Lead you will be responsible for quickly understanding business systems and their functionality, in order to then configure and test against business/system requirements. Extensive liaison is required with external stakeholders.
Key duties and accountabilities…
- Evaluate fit for purpose functionality and re-test/validate:
- Financial tracking / reports, adjustments, financial runs and re-runs
- Levy calculations
- Canned report validation
- Set up and run test data within the system
- System configuration and maintenance in relation to test cases
- Application testing - Test plans, test executions, results and reports
- Defect tracking and resolution
- Create test artefacts that can be leveraged for development of other documentation including system maintenance guides, user guides, data validation and reconciliation
- Manage a test team of mixed Business and/or IT staff
Essential Qualifications/Certifications/Skills…
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and capture information for existing systems and functionality.
- Good communication skills including an ability to provide concise, accurate reporting for analysis and test/defect management.
- Good stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated experience in effective defect/issue creation and tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and execute an overall test plan as well as individual test cases.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a test team to achieve required project outcomes.
Highly Desirable Qualifications/Certifications/Skills…
- Testing certifications e.g. ISTQB
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering or similar
