The Opportunity:

We are looking for an IT Support Officer to join our established infrastructure team.  At Netwealth, you will be part of a growing and talented group of agile and curious people who work together to achieve phenomenal outcomes for our customers. Working in an infrastructure team within a flat organisational structure, you'll have the opportunity to contribute across the entire infrastructure ecosystem while interacting closely with stakeholders from across the business.

In this role you’ll:

  • Provide high quality desk-side and telephone support to Netwealth group employees to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
  • Perform PC repairs, upgrades, patching, monitoring and reporting as required
  • Assist the team to deliver and manage the standard operating environment (SOE) for desktop technologies and mobility solutions
  • Ensure Netwealth staff and clients have simple and secure access to required systems which is controlled and audited
  • Look for new ways to resolve reoccurring problems, solve technical issues and improve efficiency
  • Assist the team with a range of projects spanning data centres, IaaS, servers, storage and virtualisation, networking, VoIP and UC, security and DevOps.

  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
  • The ability to interact comfortably and confidently with stakeholders
  • Outstanding analytical skills and an inquisitive mind
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • A passion for technology and innovation and a desire to keep up-to-date with emerging products and solutions
  • Good knowledge of a range of desktop software products and services
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office products
  • The following are also highly regarded:
    • A tertiary qualification in IT or a related discipline and/or MCSA/MCSE certifications
    • Exposure to software development concepts
    • Exposure to agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
