Ayan Infotech is urgently looking for 2 Project Managers for a Service Provider segment RFQ (not recruitment RFQ) in Canberra for long term contract role.
Due to the nature of the work involved, we can only consider Australian Citizens for this role who either hold an active Baseline security clearance OR are eligible to obtain/ maintain one.

Must have:
- Demonstrated at least five years’ experience on delivering large or complex IT projects (20%);
- Demonstrated proven experience in dealing with complex IT environments (20%);
- Demonstrated experience in planning projects (20%);
- Demonstrated PRINCE2 and Agile capability, with respective certification (20%);
- Demonstrated strong stakeholder and relationship management (10%); and
- Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills to ensure your team delivery, governance board and customer needs are in alignment (10%).
- Demonstrated experience in Digital Business Solutions (preferably in a Federal Govt Department environment)
Will perform these duties:
- mentoring and training current Junior Project Managers;
- understanding the issues that are inherent in IT projects;
- developing project products to assist with the effective monitoring and control of IT projects;
- delivering IT projects using PRINCE2 or Agile approaches to project delivery;
- maintaining a project schedule with dependencies for the work deliverables;
- Dept uses Project Server and HP’s Agile Manager software - experience using this (or similar) software is highly desirable.
- maintaining risk/issue/lessons learnt log for projects being managed;
- managing multiple projects/work packages concurrently;
- undertaking checkpoint/highlight/other reports as required;
- undertaking effective stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills; and
- identifying, escalating, and mitigating project issues as required.
