This opportunity requires a confident and energetic individual to be the 2IC to the Data Manager and assist with the translation of business requirements into technical solutions, aligned with high level architectural design. Also, act as the technical point of contact within the data team, working closely with the Digital team, Data Developers, Stakeholders and Vendors. 

Key Responsibilities;

• Work on a variety of projects but specifically API integration focused (API experience not necessary)
• Design and build solutions aligned with high level architecture 
• Be involved in the full life cycle of projects, implement Data Models, impact assessments and make data available for analytics an BI reports
• Work closely with Architects to drive continuous improvement on solutions
• Ensure high data quality and be 2IC to the Data Manager
• Participate in deployment, releases and code reviews

Tech Stack;

• Teradata 
• AWS Cloud with Cloudera and Hadoop 
• Python and Spark
• Talend

You will have;

• Data warehouse experience; Core RDBMS technologies, for instance Teradata OR Oracle
• Experience with Big Data Technologies, for example Hadoop
• Knowledge with the ETL tools; Talend OR Informatica
• Familiarity with data modelling and data structures
• Great analytical and communication skills
