My client is a well established Australian organisation who has been ramping up their Cyber Security capabilities. They are now looking to hire an Application Security Consultant to look after their WAF and DDOS capabilities. 

As an application security consultant, you will be part of the general Cyber team with a specific focus on servicing the DDOS and WAF offering to the different business units within the business. The main tasks of the position will be:
  • Service managing the solutions
  • providing Technical direction and road map
  • Providing consulting to the different existing and new projects and business units
  • Educate and rise awareness with the different stakeholders
This is an internal consulting role that will see you pro-actively engage with your stake holders and vendors in order to push the WAF/DDOS agenda and ensure their are aware and prepared for the threats. For this role, we are looking for someone with the following experience:
  • Proven track record in Application Security
  • Expert with WAF and DDOS solutions
  • Outstanding Consulting skills and ability to be proactive 
  • strong communication skills and stakeholders management abilities
