We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Team Lead to join our Information Technology department based in Belmont on a Permanent Full time basis.
The main purpose of the role is to successfully lead a group of software developers and help deliver robust and timely technical solutions
What you’ll do:
- Establish technology standards and guidelines for upcoming software projects
- Provide technical guidance, oversight and leadership to software developers on per-project basis
- Together with project team develop designs and solutions which meet business requirements
- Review code and assist in implementation and hands-on development
- Remain on the forefront of advances in technologies and look out for opportunities
- Whenever appropriate, play an active part in writing software as part of the team
- Report to and work closely with management
What you’ll need:
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 8 years of commercial experience architecting and developing software in C#
- At least 2 years of team leading experience in the most recent role
- Demonstrable record of previous software projects you lead, participated in, delivered
- Experience in server-side (RESTful services with WebAPI) and browser-web-based technologies and frameworks particularly in the .NET and JavaScript space
- Experienced enterprise architecture challenges and integration techniques
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal and communication skills both within the team and with stakeholders
- Demonstrated high level analytical, design and problem solving skills within a complex IT environment
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- A focus on delivering outcomes and efficiencies through the implementation of software that benefits the end users and the organisation.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to excellence
- Proven ability providing support and advice to other members of the team and stakeholders
- Commitment to the role and self-motivation
